Trips

Inshore Flats

The day consists of an early morning departure from the boat ramp. From there we will catch live bait and find some shallow water areas holding fish. No problem if you just want to fish artificials. Targeted species include Trout, Redfish, and Snook. Other Species include Tarpon, Jacks, Ladyfish, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, Small Grouper, and sharks.

St. Johns River Freshwater

Depart early morning from the boat ramp at the beautiful St. Johns river. From there we will find the schools of Shad and Crappie that call the river home during the winter. We will troll or cast artificials. This is a very fun fishery with light tackle and lots of action. It is great for the kids. The main targets are Shad and Crappie. Other possibilities are hybrid bass, striped bass, panfish, and largemouth bass. Bring your camera as there are many species of birds that call the St. John’s home during the winter.

This trip is only offered between Dec. 15th and Feb. 15th as that is when the shad make their migration down the river and the crappie move into the deeper holes.

Inlet Trips

This is mainly offered in the fall when the schools of mullet run down the beach and into our inlets. It’s called the mullet run. It lasts from Sept. 1st through Dec. 15th. The main target here is snook. They love to hang around the inlets this time of year. Additional species include Tarpon, Redfish, Jacks, Ladyfish, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Spanish Mackeral and Pompano.
