Other captains make you pay a full rate whether you catch fish or not. I don’t feel right about that. Pay a little up front and only pay more if your captain puts you on fish. The more you catch, the more the captain earns. It’s a win-win. And, the most you will ever pay is competitive with the full rate paid elsewhere.

Inshore Flats
Trout, Redfish, and Snook are your main targets in this shallow water expedition. Many times you can see the fish or watch an explosive topwater bite.
St. Johns Freshwater
Fish the historic St. Johns river for hard pulling, light tackle action. Species include Crappie, Shad, Bass, Hybrid Bass, Striped Bass, and Bluegill. There are usually lots of bites and this is a great trip for kids.
Inlets
Your main target is snook as you fish the rocks and docks around Port Canaveral, Ponce, or Sebastian Inlet. This is heavy tackle and bigger fish. Lots of fun!

Capt. Scott Sampson
Scott has been fishing these waters for over 30 years. He has experience in everything from Bluegill to Blue Marlin (well almost, ask him about his blue marlin story). His favorite fish to catch is snook and favorite way is a live bait on the flats. The “Pop” of a snook is something you will never forget.
